Celebrities Who Stay In Shape With Yoga

Madonna is probably the most in shape 50 year old woman in the galaxy. To stay in shape for her very active live performances she practices Ashtanga yoga every day. Her routine lasts an hour and a half (at least), and practice is fast-paced, sweaty, strict, and challenging.

Jenny McCarthy

She eats a gluten-free and dairy-free diet to help her stay trim, but stays strong and flexible with yoga. She's even teaching it to Jim Carrey.

Lady Gaga

She tweets about yoga and she tweets lessons from her yoga teacher. Guess that's enough proof that she's pretty into yoga.

Jennifer Aniston

Jen gave Oprah a yoga mat on her show, she practices yoga on set, and she constantly endorses her instructor, Mandy Ingber.

Gisele Bundchen

When Gisele Bundchen was pregnant she did Anusara yoga to stay lean, flexible, and calm. Anusara yoga is more spiritual, so it has both mental, emotional and physical benefits, which was great for her and her growing baby.

Russell Simmons

Reese's workout regiment includes running, pilates, and ypga. She does 90 minute YogaHop classes, which is basically doing yoga with really loud music playing.

Camilla Belle

Her quote about yoga: "It's a mix between the physical and meditating. It keeps me on track." She practices postures, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation to balance her mind and body.

Parker Posey

kesha yoga

Kesha got some disses from the media because she did yoga on the beach in a very un-sexy swimsuit. But she is doing yoga and keeping healthy so shut up you sloppy, out-of-shape haters!

Jon Bon Jovi

More like Jon Bon Yogi! Being a bona fide rockstar/sex symbol, Bon Jovi was a weight lifting, cardio pushing gym rat until he found yoga in 2011. Now yoga is his workout of choice.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Adam Levine

Adam showed the world his yoga body for cancer awareness and says of yoga "When I started practicing I instantly felt more sculpted. Yoga carves you into a different person—and that is satisfying physically..." As a man I have no shame saying that dude is ripped.

Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr

Like Gisele, Miranda Kerr is a yoga-mom-supermodel who sings the praises of yoga. Apparently she also went through 27 hours of labor with no drugs. I think she can handle some intense poses.

Sting & Trudie Styler

Sting Yoga

Sting Trudie Styler are the poster children for yoga loving celebrity couples. They've been practicing yoga for over 20 years and sting hits the mat while on tour. He recently said, "Like music, yoga is a journey -- one that is long enough so you keep developing, and keep learning. I don't see an end to it."

Heather Graham

Heather is 40 and hot, and the 11 years of yoga she's been doing might have something to do with it. Heather takes her practice seriously enough to have just gone on a yoga retreat.

Michelle Williams

Michelle displayed her love for yoga and her generosity to the community in 2011 with her Yoga for Single Moms Project. Michelle said, "Yoga gave me relief like nothing else; it made me a better person and a better mother... And then I started to think about how expensive it is to get a babysitter to take a yoga class. The idea behind the program is that if you can clear the time, we do the rest. It provides childcare while the mum is in the yoga class, and it's all free."
